About

We are engineers from all over India with an aim to lighten each and every rustic home with light. With the ever increasing demand for power in cities, the villages are being neglected.  We have a vision to make rural India go SOLAR. We aim to provide new, innovative and easy to use applications of solar energy in villages, where facilities for harnessing conventional sources of electricity are scarce. Small products like solar home lighting systems, portable mobile phone chargers and solar street lights are part of this initiative.

free Spirits Green Labs is an initiative to a greener world. Our vision is not only to lighten up homes but also to empower residents with the skills and knowledge to ensure the efficient use of products, thereby creating employment opportunities. The journey so far has been guided by the aim to build innovative and cost effective products that preserve the conventional sources of energy. We work under the guidance of honorable Prof. Kumar Krishen. He encourages our endeavors and supports our research and pilot studies academically as well as financially. Prof. Kumar is a true motivation for free spirits Green Labs to grow as an organization and serve the society better.

Nitin Saini, Founder of free Spirits Green Labs plays a key role in research and development of solar powered products and services. He established a global delivery model in order to provide these useful applications in rural parts of the country. He is responsible for developing strategies for joint research and technology projects with various engineering colleges across India and also for associating with various NGOs and CSR groups in order to reach the core of rural communities and provide them with applications specifically designed to be implemented in their day to day lives. Presently, our team consists of Ankitaa Bhatia, Chhavi Agrawal, Manish Bhandari, Mohit Kumar, Parul Murarka and Sindhu Krishna.

We are currently working on our Solar Education Initiative, in which we conduct solar workshop drive across various engineering colleges in India. We are also working with NGOs to provide solar lighting systems and small products in rural areas.
