About
Although you may not understand the concept of a restricted phone call, you will most likely end up on one. Companies use these calls to send out marketing messages and solicitations that are otherwise unacceptable. This article will explain what these calls are and how to avoid being placed on them in the future.
What is a restricted calling?
Restricted calls allow you to make calls from only certain contacts, regardless of where you are located. You can select up to 10 contacts who will be able receive calls from your phone regardless of where you live. This is a great way to ensure that your family and friends have constant access to your phone even when you aren't available. It can be used to inform colleagues at work about important developments, without worrying about missed calls. Open the Contacts app on the device to make restricted calls. Select the people you wish to include.
Once you have selected them, tap the three strains at the top-right corner of the screen and select "Restricted call." Next, enter the destination number you wish to use and hit "Start." Anyone tries calling you while restricted call is active, they will get a voicemail message. You can unblock any contact to allow them to call you again. Simply delete them from your restricted list.
