About
A proud member of the Irish SME Association, Finbarr Filan is the owner of the Centra shop in Sligo. Having grown up in Sligo, he does a lot of work locally to help businesses grow and get established in the town. Back in 2012 he was a part of a project that researched different models to help regenerate the town centre. As a result, they made the area a Business Improvement District. Along with working with Tidy Towns and the Saint Patrick’s festival, he has worked on other projects. He also helped highlight all the defibrillators in Sligo with a handy pocket map.
